Q: Nursing Journal?
My professor asked me to do a nursing journal for any topic we'd already covered for our medical surgical class? I didn't really understand the explanation as to how to make one? Does anyone have an idea on how to create a Nursing journal? For example for Clients with Burns.
A: i'm a new nursing student and our professor hasn't asked us to that yet. But i guess, just use the format in getting the vital/cardinal signs (i think, that's required for all types of journals). Your best option is to go to a nearest hospital and ask for a copy from a nursing station.good luck!

A: Nursing journals look like any other journal, but with a word like Nurse or Nursing on the front cover. Ask in your local library. If you just want an article on paracentesis from a nurse's point of view try this one

I'm a nursing student, and I've been trying to find a nursing journal article about obesity and MRIs. I had a patient that needed an MRI, but he was too obese. Could someone please help me find a journal article about this?

Aren't all journals peer reviewed anyway?

A: Not all journals are peer-reviewed (the ones that aren't are called magazines LOL!). I believe it should state in the journal itself whether or not it is. And, as far as what the difference is, peer-reviewed journals have articles that are read by other nurses prior to publication, and those nurses need to come to some sort of consensus about the content of the article. This does give peer-reviewed journals more credibility in the world of research and academia.

A: Is there any nursing journal research? Well, nursing journals generally don't do the research but they often print research and study results. Try AJN (American Journal of Nursing) for one. There are so many journals I can't list them all. Use the link below that I've given you to take you to Wikipedia and a comprehensive list of

A: Many State Boards of Nursing release a quarterly journal/ newsletter that lists offenses by nurses and their license status.
AJN is a professional magazine that contains practice related research and articles of clinical significance.
